38 SPECIAL PERFORMS AT WPAFB -
AFMC FREEDOM'S CALL TATTOO
American
Southern rock band, 38 Special (www.38special.com),
perform at the Wright Patterson AFB in Ohio to celebrate the 60th
anniversary of the Korean War. During the celebration ceremony
prior to the performance Freedom's Call recognized military
veterans, their families and Americans who support them with amazing
flyovers, music, narration and fireworks, as well as new recruits
from the Ohio area are sworn in.
38 Special enjoyed their time at WPAFB by playing a little golf,
taking a tour of the hangers and meeting with General Hoffman and
many other VIP's.
They are known for their hits "Hold On Loosely", "Caught Up In You",
"Back Where You Belong" and "If I'd Been the One". Donnie Van
Zant is also part of the group "Van Zant", with his brother Johnny
Van Zant, originally of Lynyrd Skynyrd.
