STARS FOR STRIPES TOURS 2005:
CHARLIE DANIELS - SOUTHWEST ASIA - APRIL 2005
The Charlie Daniels Band went to Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan,
Iraq and Kuwait where they performed for more than 15,000 and logged more
than 16,000 miles in only 9 days. Charlie Daniels and his band
performed as many as 3 show in 1 day.
"I told the guys,
'Anyone that doesn't want to go doesn't have to, but would you like to go to
Iraq and entertain the troops?' Everybody wanted to go. There were people
that wanted to go, but we just didn't have the room."

RICHARD MARX - WELCOME HOME CELEBRATION -
APRIL 2005
Richard Marx traveled to Kitzingen, Germany on April 15, to perform for over
8,000 soldiers as part of a "Welcome Home Tour" for soldiers who were
returning to their home base after a yearlong deployment in Iraq.

have wanted to perform for our troops for awhile now, and was thrilled to
get the chance last week in Kitzingen. It was an honor to play for them, and
even more so to meet them and their families. I can't wait to play again for
our troops, wherever it may be. They all have my deepest thanks and

CHELY WRIGHT - WELCOME HOME CELEBRATION - MAY 2005
Chely Wright went to Schweinfurt, Germany on
May 6th to perform for troops that were returning from spending their last
year of deployment in Iraq. As a special "honor", the parents of a
young soldier killed in action the day after he attended Chely's show at
Camp Summerall, Iraq, were invited guests of Stars for Stripes. The
parents were able to meet the soldiers that from their son's Company and
were presented with this Bronze Star in a special ceremony. Chely's
video for "Bumper of My SUV" is dedicated to the young soldier who lost his
life.

the song "Bumper Of My SUV " continues to give. This trip was an emotional
and career zenith for me. I shall never forget it. Simply put.....the

(Parents of the soldier killed in Iraq, Josh Henry, whom the video "Bumper"
was dedicated, were able to attend the Welcome Home Celebration thanks to
the proceeds "Bumper" raised. One half of the sales from the single were
donated to SFS).

MARK WILLS / JOLIE EDWARDS - SOUTH KOREA - MAY 2005
Mark Wills and Jolie Edwards entertained the troops stationed in Korea.
They visited five Army Camps throughout South Korea.

PRICE IS WRIGHT TOUR W/ SPECIAL GUEST
JOEY GILBERT - AFGHANISTAN - SEPTEMBER 2005
Chely Wright, Dave Price (CBS Early Show) and Joey Gilbert (NBC's The
Contender) traveled to Afghanistan and performed for the troops stationed at
remote camps.

sacrifice of these men and women serving in the armed forces -- without

Trick Pony traveled to South Korea and entertained troops stationed at 5 Air
Force bases.

TIPPIN - IRAQ - NOVEMBER 2005 Aaron Tippin traveled
to Iraq for the Thanksgiving Holiday and did several acoustic shows for the
troops stationed at remote camps.
