AFMC FREEDOM'S CALL TATTOO EVENT

Country entertainer and U.S. patriot, Aaron Tippin, performed at the Wright Patterson Air Force Material Command Tattoo's event in Dayton, Ohio on Friday, June 26 in front of a crowd estimated to be around 75,000 spectators.  The event is free to the military as well as the general public, and takes place on the old air strip on the base near the National Museum of the United States Air Force.  (Photo:  Aaron Tippin and 4 Star General Don Hoffman, AFMC)

The base did a promotion to "Win a Workout with Aaron Tippin".  The lucky winner was Ms. Julie Stickney.  She received a 30 minute personal workout at the Wright Field Fitness Center with Aaron, as well as meet & greet passes for the show.  "I have butterflies in my stomach," Julie said minutes before meeting Tippin. "I was definitely nervous, but also very excited.  I have been listening to (Aaron) since the 1990's."  Aaron gave Julie advice on properly setting the machines and workout advice he follows daily.  They started on the chest press machine, followed by the lat pulldown,  seated row, abdominal crunch and ended with leg curls.

KISS 95-FM held a "Roadie For A Day" promotion and the winner was Dennis Shivener from Miamisburg, OH.  Dennis, and his guest, got to hang out backstage for the duration of the day and
have dinner with the band / crew.
