Bo Bice Performs for Centcom Army Ball
Bo Bice, American Idol's first
runner up to Carrie Underwood, performed at The Army Centcom Ball
in Tampa, FL on June 18, 2010. The Ball was a celebration of
the 235th Birthday of the US Army. In attendance at the ball
was General Petraeus and CSM Marvin Hill as well as many other
dignitaries. Bo and his guitar player, Bart, did an acoustic
performance for about 45 minutes followed by a meet & greet
and autograph session for everyone in attendance.
Bo has a special place in his
heart for the military and do his all to show his support for
their efforts. Bo traveled to Afghanistan in February 2008
and Iraq in November 2008 as part of a Stars for Stripes tour to
show his support and boost morale of those stationed abroad.
Bo was the known as the
"southern rocker" on American Idol's 4th season. He has
recently released his 3rd cd, "3". Check out more
