Wright to visit National Naval Medical Center
in Bethesda, MD

Country music singer Chely Wright will visit with the wounded heroes at National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD on May 9th.  Wright, who is in town to perform at the annual SemperComm fundraising gala (www.sempercomm.org), is no stranger to the facility.   This will be her third visit to Bethesda and she has also visited Walter Reed Medical Facility, the Malone House, and Landstuhl Medical Facility in Germany over the past 3 years.    Chely's brother has served in the U.S. Marines for 15 years and her song, "Bumper of My SUV" is a salute to the U.S. Military.   Participating in "Stars for Stripes Tours", she has taken her music and special "thanks" numerous times to the troops deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Qatar, Korea, Japan, Germany and Holland.
