SPRINGFIELD, VA – April 18, 2007 - The 2007 SemperComm Gala will be Thursday, May 10, at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA. The Gala is the largest fundraiser for the SemperComm Foundation, which is a charitable nonprofit dedicated to boosting the morale of troops based at small overseas remote bases by sending them communications and entertainment equipment, software and services.

A public service announcement promoting the SemperComm Gala has been recorded by country music star Chely Wright, who will be performing live at the Gala. The PSA is available as .AIFF and .MP4 files and is recorded on CD. PSAs have been mailed out to metro Washington and Baltimore radio stations.
