DIERKS BENTLEY PERFORMS AT FT. HOOD FREEDOM FEST

Dierks Bentley performed at the Ft. Hood Freedom Fest in Kileen, TX on Saturday, July 4th.  This was a free all day event for the military and general public, which included carnival rides, games, music and fireworks. Before Dierks' performance he did a small meet and greet with military personnel, wounded soldiers and military family members, and had the opportunity to sit with Gen. Rick Lynch during the opening ceremonies. Dierks took the stage at 8:00 PM and rocked the crowd of approx 65,000 for an hour and a half. Afterwards, Ft. Hood had a spectacular 30 minutes of fireworks set to patriotic music.

Dierks is a Capitol Records recording artist and is known for his  hits "My Last Name", "What Was I Thinkin'", "Lot of Leavin' Left to Do", and his current single "Sideways".
