Marine Mom
Thanks Nichols For Believing
Joe Nichols
received a letter of much gratitude from the mother of
a United States Marine
stationed in Iraq, after a trip there where Joe performed for the
troops. The letter was signed "A very proud mother of a U.S.
Marine," followed by her initials "J.K.M." In the
correspondence, the
mom said that her son – who is deployed in
Ramadi, Iraq – showed
more excitement in his voice than she remembered hearing in a long
time, calling himself "fantastic." Her
son called her to tell
her that Joe played for the troops the night before, and that
Nichols stayed as long as necessary to sign autographs and take
pictures. In the letter, the proud mom goes on to reference the
lyrics to Joe's song "Believers." She said that she applied them
to what was reality, and thanked Nichols for believing in the
troops.
