Rockie and the band performed in the courtyard of the Malogne House at Walter Reed Army Medical Center on Armed Forces Day. The event was sponsored by The Wounded Heroes Foundation. A group of motorcycle riders representing the foundation rode from Chicago to Washington in the rain to honor the wounded and their families. After the performance, we visited the bedside of many brave soldiers, where Rockie sang to the injured and handed out goodie bags provided by the foundation. It was a day that we will all remember.
