Sports Calling Cards To Be Given to US Military Serving Overseas

McLean, VA — The Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes is proud to announce a partnership with EZ Scores and Stars for Stripes whereby United States servicemen and women worldwide will be able to check the scores and stats of their favorite sports teams and fantasy football teams, as well as get virtually real time updates. On November 22nd, Stars for Stripes began distributing cards to troops deployed to Kuwait and Iraq as Aaron Tippin entertained the troops in Southwest Asia during the Thanksgiving Holidays. The Coalition is a non-partisan organization dedicated to aiding disabled War on Terror veterans as they rebuild their lives upon returning to the United States.

“We are so happy to partner with EZ Scores and Stars for Stripes on this project. These calling cards will be a slice of home in the troops’ lives. These cards help the Coalition fulfill the mission of our Family Support Network which is to boost morale and inject fun into the service member’s life,” Coalition Founder and volunteer President Roger Chapin said. “It is our way of saying to the men and women in uniform that your service to your country is not forgotten despite the distance,” Chapin concluded.

Through the Coalition and in partnership with Stars for Stripes, EZ Scores will give away 2.5 million cards to the United States military. Each card is voice activated and provides up to the minute sports scores and stats. The cards offer information about the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NASCAR, NCAA football and NCAA men’s basketball. The cards have a retail value of $25 each which is good for 400 calls. Each call provides a user unlimited access to scores, stats about their fantasy teams, and other sports results.

“With these cards, we hope every service member who uses them will feel our appreciation. Their dedication to protecting our freedom is a debt we can never repay. Hopefully, the cards express in a small way our gratitude and remind them of home and all its distinctiveness,” EZ Scores CEO Christopher O' Donnell said.

I personally handed out more than 5,000 cards over the Thanksgiving Holidays on Aaron Tippin’s tour to Iraq and Kuwait” Seale said.
