SemperComm Partners with An Entertainment Non-profit Organization
Stars for Stripes will provide entertainment to overseas remote bases
Springfield, VA – January 17, 2006 - The SemperComm Foundation, a charitable
non-profit organization that was founded to boost the morale of U.S. service
members stationed at overseas remote bases, today announced Stars For
Stripes as a partner of the foundation, by providing quality, celebrity
entertainment into the remote sites where the troops need the moral boost
the most.
Stars for Stripes entertainment tours will enhance SemperComm’s solution, a
suite of communications and entertainment tools, including internet access
to the SemperComm Interactive Communications Site which connects service
members with their loved ones back home. Stars for Stripes will provide an
avenue for the service members stationed at the overseas remote bases an
opportunity to escape for a few hours to relax and enjoy quality, celebrity
entertainment. In addition, after every performance, Stars for Stripes
guarantees that celebrities who participate in their tours will sign
autographs for service members after every show no matter how long the lines
might be.
“SemperComm compliments our organization perfectly,” said Judy Seale,
President of Stars for Stripes (and Judy Seale International in Nashville),
“our missions flatter one another, and both organizations are working
towards the same goal; to improve the quality of life and boost morale for
our service members stationed overseas at remote bases.”
Through Stars for Stripes celebrity entertainment tours, SemperComm will
continue to make a difference in the lives of those who are stationed at
remote bases by providing them with sources of entertainment during their
downtimes. After all, SemperComm and Stars for Stripes support the service
members commitments and honor their service.
“We are very excited about this new endeavor; Stars for Stripes tours have
already touched so many lives,” said Lara Coffee, Executive Director of
SemperComm, “because of this partnership, we are able to enhance
SemperComm’s services.”
