Stars for Stripes Benefit at The Palm -
Nashville, TN
The
Nashville Palm hosted “Have You Forgotten?” a benefit commemorating
the 10-year anniversary of the September 11 attacks,
on Tuesday, September 20.
Country music legend and Opry member Charlie Daniels and his
wife Hazel will hosted the event, along with celebrity guests Chris
Young and Darryl Worley.
This event raised
more than $75,000 for
Stars for Stripes, which is an organization dedicated to providing
quality celebrity entertainment
to American troops stationed overseas.
Special guests John and Jan
Vigiano and Lieutenant Jason Redman were honored at the benefit.
John Vigiano is a former marine and a retired member of the New York
Fire Department. He and his wife lost both of their sons September
11, 2001 in the attacks on the Twin Towers in NYC. Redman is a
highly decorated Navy Seal who was
shot seven times in the face and arms with a machine gun during an
operation in Iraq in 2007.
