LETTERS FROM TROOPS ENTERTAINED BY
THE AARON TIPPIN TOUR
*******************************************************************
As an MP stationed in Kuwait I was honored to escort Judy and her sponsored entertainment
- Aaron Tippin while they were here before moving North into Iraq in Nov. 2005. I cannot
say how many hearts you touched during your visit and performance here, the genuine
comments from the Troops on how it gave them more strength and stamina to "drive on"
despite being away from Family and Friends. Stars for Stripes truly believe the troops are
the heroes, and that is true, however lets not forget Stars For Stripes who make it possible
for entertainers to give us the VERY needed boost at just the right time - around the Holiday
Season. On behalf of the MANY Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen (and Women) - THANK YOU
Stars for Stripes!!!
Very Sincerely,
SFC Jeffrey E. Smoczyk

We'd really
like to thank Mr. Tippin for entertaining the troops, our daughter was at
Speicher FOB when he was there and thought it was the BEST Thanksgiving.
Thank you sir for dedication.

Ma’am,
I just wanted to send a thanks since I did not get to thank you in person.
I had the privilege of attending Aaron Tippin’s concert in Baghdad on 27 Nov
2005. I walked away feeling pretty good. It’s a great thing you do and we
truly appreciate it.

Ms. Judy Seale,
On behalf of the Marines of Camp Fallujah, thank you so much for making the
Aaron Tippin visit to Iraq possible. I’m confident service members aboard
Camp Fallujah will never forget the memorable acoustic show. It was a real
treat, and it definitely boosted the moral among the troops! During the
concert, I felt like I was home in Nashville! We cannot thank you enough for
your efforts. I finished my print story about the visit today, and included
a link to it below for you. Also, thank you for the challenge coin. It will
always remind me of the concert, and your organization. Please let me know
if there is anything I can do for Stars for Stripes in the future, and have
a great day and safe trip back home!

Thanks
for taking Aaron Tippin to Iraq for Thanksgiving. Our son is at
Balad Air Base. He sent us a picture with him and Aaron. It is the FIRST
smile we have seen on his skinny face since he went to Iraq. He was so
appreciative of the show. Thanks for making this Kansas boy so happy!
Thanks also for your dedication!

Hello Judy,
I don’t know if
you remember me. I am a female soldier in Kuwait, at Camp Arifjan. I met you
through the Aaron Tippon concert. I added one of my dog tags, to the one you
had, so that you would have a set like we do.
You are a Soldier I your own way. You fight for what you believe in, like we
do.
I just wanted to touch base with you, and let you know how much you time and
effort means to us.
For those who have been here for only a few weeks or months, to see you
here, helps with the shell shock of leaving the Unites States. Getting even
the smallest glimpse of something resembling home…..like a song that takes
you back to a special place in time, is very refreshing.
The Soldiers who have been here for a longer period, each visit helps us
connect………..as you tend to forget so much.
For you to be here with us, and see how we live, and what we sacrifice for
others……then to share that with the world…………you are an angel.
When you grow tired and weary from all your efforts, know that YOU are
appreciated, and that the things YOU do will be with us…………. for the rest
of………. each of our lives.
