"Thank you for a great experience from Camp Humphreys"
I just wanted to take the time to say thank you for a great experience from Camp Humphreys.
The article will definitely be a good contribution to our little newsletter. It was surprising to myself and SPC Johnson just how courteous and kind the entire crew was. The fact that you all came to Korea to put on a show for the soldiers speaks volumes. It seems today that at times the soldiers over here are forgotten about and it is a good feeling when people care enough to drop in and give us a boost. We all are grateful for the concert and the gesture. I went through a wide range of emotions from the show. At first it made me miss the States and everything about how good we have it as Americans. Then I thought about my wife and how she works to keep the household working. Everybody over here has something back home that keeps them going day to day. One of the seven Army values that we are bound to live by is selfless service. Chely and the crew displayed an incredible amount of selfless service by taking the time to give us a good show. For that, thank you. And thank you all for giving us a little reminder about what we are here for.
